Police arrest man and seize drugs

On July 22, 2022, the Fredericton Police Force attempted to stop a motor vehicle on the City’s northside, as part of an ongoing investigation. When the vehicle in question failed to stop and fled from police, members of the Patrol Division, with the assistance of the Street Crime and Drug Units, located the vehicle and a male was arrested. As a result of the investigation, 27 year old Zachery Parker was charged with the following:

1)  Section 5(2) CDSA  Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking : Fentanyl

2)  Section 5(2) CDSA  Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking : Methamphetamine

3)  Section 5(2) CDSA  Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking : Cocaine

4)  Section 5(2) CDSA  Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking : Oxycodone

5)  Section 5(2) CDSA  Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking: Lysergic Acid Diethylamide

6)  Section 5(2) CDSA  Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking : Benzodiazepine

7)  Section 320.17 CC Failing to stop for Police

8)  Section 320.18 CC Operate a Motor Vehicle while Prohibited

9) Section 733.1(1)(a) Breach of Probation

Zachary Parker appeared in court on July 25, 2022 and was remanded in custody. Parker is scheduled to appear in court for a show cause hearing on Aug. 8 2022.
