Fredericton Police have recovered the body of a man in his mid 40’s in the city’s Killarney Lake.
Police say in a news release that they responded to a report of a missing swimmer on Saturday at about 8:00 p-m.
The lake’s beach and trails were closed as the initial rescue effort was conducted and remained closed as the investigation took place.
Police are asking for anyone with information about the incident to contact the department.
