The Codiac Regional RCMP is looking to speak with a man who stopped to help a woman who fell outside a bar in Moncton on July 24th.
A release states the woman fell outside Lexi’s Lounge near the intersection of Reade Street and Mountain Road at around 6: a.m. on July 24th.
Investigators say a man driving a dark green pickup truck stopped to check on the woman, and drove her and another woman who was with her to their destination.
Officers responded around 7 p.m. the same day to a report of a woman in medical distress at a home on Norwood Avenue in the city.
Police say the woman was taken to hospital, but died on Tuesday.
The RCMP describe the driver of the truck as an older man with a beard, and the vehicle as a dark green two-door Chevrolet pickup truck that is possibly from between 2000 and 2006.
Anyone with information that could help further the investigation is asked to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
